4000 = the number of hours I spent working on this.

We had a great visit with the Lamberts & Billmeiers in early October. We celebrated Dexter’s 4th Birthday and had loads of fun exploring the countryside. I got a chance to snuggle my new nephew, Samuel, and to spend some great time with Mila. Dexter and Mila were fast friends, but Dexter loves to tell her what to do. Here’s Ariel’s blog post from the weekend, with photos by Uncle Zak.

Our neighborhood block party was a huge success this weekend. Some pics of Dexter in the “Bike Parade” below. Note: I have never seen him ride his bike so fast! Also, Dexter’s Etch-a-Sketch drawing of “A robot just about to get into bed…”

We had a really nice (chaotic) visit with Jasper & Jodi and special guest Clement! After a visit to the Steveston water park and playground, we hit the ice cream shop. Here they are enjoying their yummy treats!

I took a bunch of photobooth pictures of me and Dexter a couple of months back. Good thing I made this montage, because they are nowhere to be found now. Here were my favourites.

Last weekend Dexter, Alex and Great Grandma Teresa went to visit Grandma Vivian on Vancouver Island. They rode on a steam train and went to a wood mill. Dexter had a wonderful time and is still talking about it daily!

We had a lovely visit with Grandma Jaye & Poppa in late June. They were here for Dexter’s end-of-year party at Preschool!
